Scotland's only Subway system's circular route is a fast and efficient way to travel around, particularly in the city centre, west end and south side areas.

Glasgow Central Station links Glasgow by rail to the South. Glasgow Queen Street Station operates routes mainly to Edinburgh, the North of the city and Northern Scotland.

Roundabout Ticket

The "Roundabout" one-day ticket allows unlimited travel by rail to over 110 stations in the Greater Glasgow area and unlimited travel on the Glasgow Subway. Adult fare is £6.80 and child fare is £3.40.

Delegate Travel Pass

The Delegate Travel Pass can be ordered in advance by the conference organiser.

This pass provides free access to most public transport within the city, SEC & SSE Hydro and beyond  - all the way to Loch Lomond and New Lanark.

The Pass gives access to:

  • The subway, city centre buses and trains
  • Trains to various attractions outside the city

Glasgow's taxi drivers are known to be some of the friendliest in the world!

Glasgow Taxis operate 5 and 6-seater "black cabs" in and around the city. If their yellow light is on they can be flagged down on the street, or alternatively call +44 (0) 141 429 70 70 to book.
