The Tall Ship, Glenlee, is Glasgow's most original venue and the only one situated on the famous River Clyde.
Built in 1896, on the River Clyde, when Glasgow was recognised as the Second City of the Empire Glenlee is now the only Clydebuilt sailing ship still afloat in the UK. The Tall Ship offers a unique combination of 19th century charm and modern facilities. The atmospheric surroundings evoke dramatic images of a life at sea.
The space is very flexible and allows organisers to use imagination and flair to 'wow' their guests. The Tall Ship can accommodate up to 180 people for dining and 200 for a reception. Guest can enjoy the unique, flood lit, riverside setting and sunset from the main deck.
Below decks there are onboard exhibits and guests are free to explore The Tall Ship while the in-house catering company, En Croute, provide all the facilities and services needed to make your event a success.
The Tall Ship is situated on the River Clyde next to the Riverside Museum and only a short walk from the Scottish Event Campus. It is also within a few minutes walking distance from Partick train and underground stations and on site parking facilities.
